In this seminar you will learn which Open Source tools you can use for your daily work with the current C++ Builder 10.3.3. This includes solutions for documenting, metrics, code analysis and code management.

In this seminar we would like to give you an overview of how to use different tools and how to work together successfully in projects. The goal is not to master the technologies and tools used, but to describe how they can contribute to the success of a project. The tools used are also not a dogma, many approaches are transferable to other tools that are also available in the Open Source area.

Since these are open source tools, every participant can use them in his own projects after the training and use the learned contents.

Course of Training

  1. Project management with Redmine
  2. Source code management with Subversion
  3. Documentation with Doxygen
    • Graphics for the display of graphics
    • Scenarios with MSCGen
    • MikTex and TexWorks for PDF files and printing
  4. static code analysis with cppCheck
    • the simple editor NodePad++ for working with the tools
  5. Metrics with SourceMonitor
